Dear Blog

Dear Blog,

I have decided that I need to make some life changes before I can pursue this relationship with any sense of consistency or theme. At this point in time, I think I will only update you with pictures and fun stories. Since I have a crappy camera and little fun, it's going to be a while. This isn't really a break-up...I just need some time.

My only excitement tonight was being asked to help cut some boards with the table saw which scares the crap out of both Ryan and I. I think my bloodpressure will drop back down in about 30 minutes.

Until I have more to offer...peace out!

Sleeping Inn

Ryan and I were looking forward to sleeping in at the hotel. No Miller to say "Daddy, come here! I want Apple Jacks." With the time change, I was awake at 6am and have tossed and turned until 8am refusing to get up because I CAN stay in bed. Typical luck though, the maintenance man for the hotel just knocked on the door. Supposedly our room houses something for the internet that is down. He asked if he could come in and I told him no, come back in a bit. Seriously...what hotel houses items within a single room that affect all rooms? (ps-we knew there were internet problems last night and Sean had reported it. Maybe they should have looked into it last night).

Well, now that we are up, we must go find an adventure. Hopefully I will get some pictures taken. I miss Miller but not taking care of him. He would have loved some of the sights we have seen so far (tractors, Elk, etc.).

Celebrating the 4th on the 3rd

This will be the first 4th of July in the new house and as fun as the new house is...NO FIREWORKS! I am going to miss the old house for this reason and might have to raise a toast to the lucky new owners. Would it be wrong to show up in the backyard tomorrow night with a tote full of explosives, a cooler of beer, and lawnchairs? Maybe we can work out a timeshare for this holiday?

Happy 4th of July! Be safe with the fireworks, wear sunscreen, and don't drink and drive. I think that about covers the major concerns for safety.
