Good Day?

Yesterday was a little trying running on no sleep but last night Miller slept pretty well without any tantrums (the only one was at 3 in the afternoon which I will take any day over midnight or 3 am). I got a glorious 3 hours of sleep in one stretch! It was awesome. I never thought I would be able to function on so little sleep. It's amazing what the body will do for survival.

This morning Miller didn't want to go back to bed like normal so neither of us got a morning nap in. We did however break into the toys. One of his toys is a surfboard looking thing that has a spot at the top where you fill it with water and 3 little fish are in it. Then it has a pillow like thing to help prop him up and toys attached. It's for putting him on his tummy to develop neck strength. He did pretty good for a few minutes and then got tuckered out. It's hard holding that noggin' up for long when you are built like Gumby. I will try to take a picture this afternoon when we attempt it again. He was dressed cute this morning but peed on his outfit. So, now he's a mismatched baby who needs a bath.

I also attempted to put together one more item but it required batteries we didn't have. He will have to wait until Mom or Dad makes a trip to the store to experience that one.

Thanks for the comments to yesterday's post about the pacifier. I really do hate those things but desperate times call for desperate measures. It's good to know the other parents are able to use them in emergency situations and are working on weaning. It is much easier to kill a Nuk than to chop off a thumb!

A year ago, you probably wouldn't have guessed that you'd be claiming that 3 hours of sleep was refreshing, huh?
