House Hunting-Round 1

Today we went and looked at some of the houses we received from our realtor. We saw one decent property (love the kitchen and back yard...rest of the house was nice but not a dream home). The rest were not quite what we had in mind. It gave us a great feel for what's out there, what our money can buy, and who obviously has never watched a single HGTV show. I didn't take pictures but the ultimate story house was the 1970 something, original owners, raw wood walls, cheetah carpet, metalic animal wall papered bathroom (don't forget the ceiling), and other unspeakable decorations.

Miller was a trooper and did pretty well. I can only imagine how bored he must have been. Plus he had to be held alot so he didn't touch peoples stuff, get eaten by dogs, or fall in pools. Maybe it was more fun than I thought.

Oh, we did pull up to one house and as we drove through the neighborhood, Ryan and I both said too ghetto. We pulled up and told her to not even get out of the car. It made our current neighborhood look like gated community and the ritz wrapped into one. I can't believe anyone would ever buy a house sight unseen or visited. Yikes!

The search will continue but I have a sneaking suspicion we will end up in Coral Springs. They have nicer lots, neighborhoods, and larger houses without feeling like you live on top of your neighbors. Wish us luck. For now, we will appreciate our house because it is definitely nicer than a lot we saw today and almost as big.

Coral Springs would be nice. Closer to work for you! And, closer to us! Extra bonus ;)

Time to face facts Erin. Coral Springs is the bomb diggity. Wine nights would be much easier if you moved this way, too. :)
