Mason's Reward
Per my last post, Mason is finally potty trained. He took a trip to Toys R Us this past weekend to pick out his toy. He liked being in the store but we knew the one and only section to hold his attention was the train aisle. We have plenty of Thomas so we pointed out some wooden tracks to expand his collection.
The cutie pie picked one 3 piece track so we encouraged him to get a little more. He decided on a train that he refers to as his "Mighty Machine" train and his "Honkey Train". The train looks like the one on Mighty Machines and of course, it's big and goes "honk honk" instead of toot toot.
Miller was an excellent older brother. We explained why Mason was getting the toy and that Miller had the same reward. We talked about the rescue vehicles he picked out and how special they were. We also reminded him he has a birthday coming up. Surprisingly, Miller didn't beg for any toys and was happy to point out all of the fun things he liked in the store.
These kids are growing up way too fast. I can't believe we have passed another milestone.
